After-School Workshops and Seminars:
We offer public schools and after-school programs the opportunity to have Money Matters present weekly or biweekly seminars throughout the school year to K-12 students on financial literacy and basic economics. Our curricula, provided by the Virginia Council on Economic Education, is focused on building a stable and better financial future for children in Richmond. Annual Richmond Peace Center Youth Summit Presentation:
Yearly, our staff of volunteers provides a workshop and presentation for students at the Richmond Peace Education Center Youth Summit for approximately two to three hours. The curricula is focused on achieving educational and financial success through the application of SOL-based knowledge and communication skills.
